My Father was an old student of Highlands. He was a reputed trade unionist. He served as a Director of Workers Education at Ceylon Workers Congress and then appointed as a one and only Senator in the government of Sri Lanka from upcountry. During his period, he mainly served for upcountry people and helped so many people to come up in their life. So many youngsters got appointed as Teachers. He was a honest person and still people remember him about his service and accomplishment of his public service. My Father was an excellent human being and taught me to adopt superior values of life. He taught excellent deeds in this world, Indeed, to respect and cherish him I am happy to sponsor LKR 50K per annum to support the students of our collage who is in real finance need for his or her educational needs.
